When I decided to revamp some of my marketing strategies, I decided to start
with my online video gallery. I had a couple of problems with the way I was currently
sharing my work with both current and potential clients. My potential clients
were leaving my site due to not being able to watch my Windows Media files, which
resulted in my business losing money before I even had a chance to explain my
services!
So I began to research internet video solutions. I had been investigating the
best way to put my video presentations on the net at the highest quality while
hitting the widest audience. I found that using Flash Video provided extremely
high quality video while enabling over 95% of internet users to see your
video without requiring any media player. So, I thought I can handle developing
a Flash Video solution and I contemplated buying Macromedia Flash. Oh my!
Let me tell you, Macromedia Flash is pretty complicated, and as a videographer,
I didn’t
have the time to learn and develop video applications! I’m a videographer,
not a programmer…and that is when I found Director’s View!
